1/4 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 light corn syrup
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
16 cups popped mushroom popcorn (can substitute regular seed)
Prepare popcorn as directed on the bag. Remove unpopped kernels. Place in large mixing bowl.
In saucepan, combine butter, sugar and corn syrup. Stir well and bring to boiling over medium heat. Stir in condensed milk. Simmer, stirring constantly, till mixture comes to soft ball stage (234 degrees F). Stir in vanilla. Pour over popped corn and stir to coat. Wet hands lightly and shape into balls. Makes approximately 15 balls.
