Product Questions

Yes. Our Kaktus Corn Chips are gluten free. Most of our seasonings have no gluten in them but are processed on the same line as products that do have gluten in them. To view all our gluten free products, click here.

Yes, our popcorn is non-GMO.

Airtight storage is best. It prevents moisture loss, which directly affects the corn’s ability to pop. No moisture … no pop. It is just that simple. Also, avoid the refrigerator. While some claim that cold storage makes better popcorn taste better, many refrigerators contain little moisture and will dry out the kernels.

As popcorn ages, it tends to lose needed moisture. That is why it needs to be stored properly. (Try sprinkling a little water over the kernels, shake, and then let them set in an airtight container for at least a day before using.

Kaktus Chips are a small hard pellet that expands to a light crunchy snack when heated in oil. There are 3 different varieties: corn, potato and wheat. They are a great alternative to potato chips.

Yes. The amount of oil necessary depends on the kind of oil being used. The more dense the oil, the less you need.

Our Theatre II Snack Maker is not compatible with induction stove-tops. Our stainless steel option is induction compatible.

There are a couple of different ways to troubleshoot problems with your poppers. If the gears seem to be the problem, check out How To Replace Gears On Your Theatre II Popper. Yes, there is. The working parts of the popper are under a five (5) year limited warranty. The pot itself is not under warranty. Proof of purchase is required to receive the warranty. All warranty claims should be sent directly to Schneider’s Gourmet World and not to the local store it was purchased from.

We accept credit card payments through Stripe and PayPal. Supported credit card types are Mastercard, Visa, AMEX and Discover. Visa debit is not accepted at this time. For other payment options such as e-transfer, please reach out to us at info@sgw.ca

Our website base currency is CAD if you are in Canada, and USD if you are in the United States. Currency is selected based on your location, but can easily be changed to a different currency by using the currency converter located in the footer (bottom) of the website.

Yes. We use an encrypted SSL certificate to make certain all payment processing information is kept secure when completing your transactions.

Canada will be charged GST. The current GST rate is 5%. Saskatchewan residents will also be charged the PST on non-food items.

Shipping rates vary throughout Canada and the United States. Shipping rates are based according to your shipping address and are calculated when you checkout.

We charge a flat rate so you the customer know exactly how much you will be paying. The actual cost of shipping is always more than the flat rate that is charged to the customer so we as a business cover that cost. Below are the shipping rates per location:

British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec – $15.99

Once your order has been received, we will do our best to process and ship your order within 48 hours. You will receive an email upon ordering and then another email with tracking and order info once it has been shipped.

Yes. During the checkout process you will be able to setup an account. If you do so, you will be able to log into our website to check the status of your current and past orders. If you checkout as a guest, you will receive email notifications when the status of your order changes.

Our oils have a shelf life of two years. Our Kaktus chips have a shelf life of one year. Unopened seasonings have a shelf life of six to nine months. Opened seasonings have a shelf life of three to six months. Popcorn has an indefinite shelf life as long as it is stored in ideal conditions. However for best results, we recommend using it within one year from purchase.
