While some claim that cold storage makes better popcorn taste better, many refrigerators contain little moisture and will dry out the kernels.
As popcorn ages, it tends to lose needed moisture. That is why it needs to be stored properly. (Try sprinkling a little water over the kernels, shake, and then let them set in an airtight container for at least a day before using.

Yes, there is. The working parts of the popper are under a five (5) year limited warranty. The pot itself is not under warranty. Proof of purchase is required to receive the warranty. All warranty claims should be sent directly to Schneider’s Gourmet World and not to the local store it was purchased from.

Our oils have a shelf life of two years. Our Kaktus chips have a shelf life of one year. Unopened seasonings have a shelf life of six to nine months. Opened seasonings have a shelf life of three to six months. Popcorn has an indefinite shelf life as long as it is stored in ideal conditions. However for best results, we recommend using it within one year from purchase.
