These unique chips are made from potato flour. When individuals hear the word Kaktus, they assume the product is made from cactus flour – please note the spelling of our word. They take 24-30 seconds to make using Schneider’s Theatre II Snack Maker. A unique snack that when placed in a Schneider’s Theatre II Snack Maker with oil will expand up to four times its original size. Puff, let cool. Add 2 tsp of Schneider’s seasoning. Toss & Enjoy!! Kaktus Chips can also be made in an air popper, microwave, baked in the oven or deep fryer.

My favourite of all the Kaktus chips for texture and flavour. Easy to make but took me a little bit of trial and error at first to get it perfect. Tip: if you are unsure if the oil is at the correct temperature – put one in the pot to test first. If it gets wrinkly and doesn’t puff well, the oil is too hot.
